Shade Tree Clinic is a free health clinic run by Vanderbilt medical students. At the clinic, students collaborate with Vanderbilt University Medical Center faculty to provide medical care, social services, and health education. As one of the few clinics in the area that provides comprehensive care to resource-limited patients, Shade Tree is vital to the Nashville community. By offering consistent primary care to 300 patients through the program and providing avenues to connect with specialists and imaging services at Vanderbilt, Shade Tree Clinic is there for community members in their times of need.
