Short Sets hosted by Cole Slivka with Mel Hart, Kevin Gordon, Fluid Notion and Special Guests

Ethereal singer-songwriter Cole Slivka — often accompanied by her husband Paul Slivka on bass — hosts and performs at this long-running mini-showcase of Nashville’s finest established and emerging songwriters, musicians and bands, most slightly out of the mainstream. It’s safe to say that what began at the now defunct Bean Central coffeehouse in 2001, moved to the original Family Wash location in 2003–then the new location in 2015–and will reside at Vinyl Tap beginning in October, 2017, has become an institution. Tonight’s one-off gig, with Mel Hart, Kevin Gordon, Fluid Notion and special guests, is a teaser in its new space.
