Signature Series: On the Threshold of Winter

After commissioning several major new works from groundbreaking American composer Michael Hersch over the past few years, the Blair School is pleased to partner with him once again. This season, Blair presents the regional premiere of Hersch’s acclaimed monodrama On the Threshold of Winter in a semi-staged production. The searing drama, which deals with the final stages of terminal illness, will be performed by some of today’s most accomplished musicians. Soprano Ah Young Hong joins the NUNC Ensemble (Miranda Cuckson, director) for the production, which will be conducted by Tito Munoz.
