Siren 2: A Special Evening of Film and Music Benefiting the Jim Ridley Memorial Scholarship Fund at MTSU
The second installment of White Avenue Studio’s recurring SIREN arts event series celebrates the beloved late Nashville Scene editor and writer Jim Ridley and his exuberance and passion for film and music. The event will benefit the Jim Ridley Memorial Scholarship Fund at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Guests will enjoy a special evening of rare 16mm footage, a musical performance by Kurt Wagner of Lambchop, a silent auction, and special guests sharing personal thoughts on Jim’s impact and legacy. Food will be generously provided by Mangia Nashville and bartending service and cocktails by BarHop.
Ticket price includes a Jim Ridley T-shirt made by Sam Smith.
$60 ticket includes admission to the event with food from Mangia, open bar and one Jim Ridley T-shirt made by Sam Smith.
$100 ticket includes admission to the event with food from Mangia, open bar, one Jim Ridley T-shirt and a boxed, limited-edition version of Nashville: An American Self-Portrait, the multi-author book for which Jim Ridley wrote a 6,000-word unifying narrative “ribbon” (signed by the late John Egerton and E. Thomas Wood, co-editors).
