Originally from southeastern Kentucky, Christina Watson moved to Nashville in 2001 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Since her arrival in Music City, her versatile voice of 3+ octaves and love of all cultures have gained her entry into a wide array of musical situations, including appearances at various jazz festivals and at numerous venues in the US, France, Belgium and Sweden. She has released three CD’s as a leader – 2004’s All About Love, 2008’s critically acclaimed A Flower Truly Blue, and in 2014, her latest CD Passage. Christina also sings soprano in the Nashville based vocal jazz quartet 3rd Coast Vocals, and leads her own a cappella women’s group called the Nashville Belles, which performs locally to benefit a different charity each year.
Joining Christina will be Don Aliquo (saxophone), Lori Mechem (piano), Roger Spencer (bass), and Duane Norman (drums).
