The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum holds weekly Songwriter Sessions on Instagram Live. During these sessions, viewers hear from and interact with the talents behind country music’s biggest hits.
Brett James wrote “Blessed” (Martina McBride), “I Hold On” (Dierks Bentley), “Mr. Know It All” (Kelly Clarkson), “The Truth” (Jason Aldean), and “When the Sun Goes Down” (Kenny Chesney). He also wrote several Carrie Underwood hits, including the Grammy award-winning Best Country Song “Jesus Take the Wheel,” “Somethin’ Bad” (with Miranda Lambert), and “Something in the Water.” James recently released an EP, I Am Now.
Tune in to Instagram Live every Tuesday at 8pm CDT for songs and stories from hit songwriters. This interactive program is a spinoff of the museum’s popular Saturday Songwriter Session, a live performance—in which audience questions are welcome—offered weekly in the museum’s Ford Theater. The museum brings this program to your home online through Instagram Live.
Presented by SunTrust with support from Metro Nashville Arts Commission and Tennessee Arts Commission.
