The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum holds weekly Songwriter Sessions on Instagram Live. During these sessions, viewers hear from the talents behind country music’s biggest hits.
Singer-songwriter Pam Tillis wrote her hits “Blue Rose Is,” “Cleopatra, Queen of Denial,” “It’s Lonely Out There,” “Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life),” “One of Those Things,” “Put Yourself in My Place,” and “Spilled Perfume.” She also has written songs recorded by Gloria Gaynor, Highway 101, Chaka Khan, Juice Newton, Dan Seals, and Conway Twitty. Tillis co-wrote six songs on her latest album, Looking for a Feeling, released earlier this year. She has won CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and is the daughter of Country Music Hall of Fame member Mel Tillis.
Watch it here on Instagram Live @officialcmhof.
Tune in to Instagram Live every Tuesday at 8pm CDT for songs and stories from hit songwriters. This program is a spinoff of the museum’s popular Saturday Songwriter Session, a live performance offered weekly in the museum’s Ford Theater. The museum brings this program to your home online through Instagram Live.
Presented by SunTrust with support from Metro Nashville Arts Commission and Tennessee Arts Commission.
