Sonia Lee and Jon Scott
Singer/Songwriter and two time Kerrville New Folk Finalist Sonia Lee sings in a pure, sweet voice, reminiscent of early Emmy Lou Harris and Allison Krauss. All across America, whether in intimate house concert settings, nightclubs or festivals, Sonia‘s music touches the lives of her audience with an inspirational message of hope and redemption.
On her latest CD, “Butterfly” and 2010’s memorable “Chance To Start Over”, Sonia paints a deeply personal and passionate portrait of her own journey throughout addiction and her path to healing. Her newest project, the “Shoebox Man Kit” is an inspirational, musical gift for any young woman who hopes to marry one day.
A man of many talents and a passion that rivals his fiery hair, Jon Scott has been a singer, musician, and songwriter nearly his entire life. His love for music began at the age of four. As a child he knew that if he accomplished nothing else in his life, it would be OK as long as he could sing. Jon is a founding member of the Americana band Phoenix Drive and has had the opportunity to work and write with great artist such as Joe West, Rob Crosby, Bonnie Baker, Sam and Annie Tate, Jane Bach, Jason and Kalli Roller, John Rich, Bill Diluigie, Angie Johnson, Dean Sams, Briana Tyson, Risa Rhodes, Cowboy Troy, and a host of other talented people. His soulful and genuine voice reaches to the heart and soul of those who hear him.
