Lipscomb’s Beaman Library commemorates the 70th anniversary of WWII with the official unveiling of the Stribling Brock German POW letters. Curtis Peters, Lawrenceburg historian and donor of more than 350 letters from former German POWs to the Lawrenceburg residents they came to know and love during their internment, will speak on the discovery of this unique collection, housed in the Lipscomb archives. Lipscomb History Professor Charles McVey will read selections from the letters.
