Philosophy for children? Philosophy in a puppet show? Really? Yes, really. Join us at the Parthenon, Sundays at 2:00pm, for a 15 minute interactive performance of the "Allegory of the Cave", a puppet show commissioned by The Conservancy and created by master puppeteer Brian Hull of the Nashville Public Library. The allegory was written by Plato in his book "The Republic" to explain human ignorance and people who are unable or unwilling to seek truth and wisdom.
