An alien orphan is sent from his dying planet to Earth, where he grows up to become mild-mannered Clark Kent (Christopher Reeve), a reporter at the Daily Planet alongside his crush, Lois Lane. When the nefarious Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman) launches a plan for world domination, Clark must summon his superhero to save Planet Earth. Co-starring Marlon Brando as Jor-El, Clark Kent’s biological father.
