SURVIVORville 2015

SURVIVORville will be held June 5-7 and is an event where women can learn to navigate the muddy waters of survivorship.  It’s where they acquire the tools to help them re-enter their lives as contributing members of they families and society as a whole.

Produced by Women Survivors Alliance, SURVIVORville is held in Nashville, Tennessee, at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Over the past two years SURVIVORville (formerly called the National Women Survivors Convention) has welcomed nearly 2000 women from 49 states and 5 countries.

This much needed platform allows women survivors to network with one another, replacing the feeling of isolation with a sense of community. It provides education, motivation and life application for every step of survivorship, and it equips survivors with the necessary resources to create their own survivorship care plan and celebrate the 2nd Act of their lives.

In 2015, SURVIVORville is encompassing National Cancer Survivors Day, Sunday, June 7th and will be held at Public Square Park. Attendees will be transported to downtown Nashville – free of charge – to join with the public at large for a day of celebration, inspiration and networking. Events will include:

The 3rd Annual Celebrate SURVIVORS 5K Walk/Run
50 Survivor Gathering Tents, representing each of the 50 states
Vendor and Resources booths
Free public entertainment

A National Survivors Day Salute to Survivors Concert, featuring some of the brightest stars in the Nashville sky
(the weekend fabulously coincides with the kickoff to the 2015 Country Music Association (CMA) Festival)

SURVIVORville 2015 Honorary Chair is Olympic Medalist and World Champion Scott Hamilton and  is where ALL women cancer survivors need to be.
