Tennessee Celebrates Statehood

Visitors are encouraged to stop by the new location at 1001 Rep. John Lewis Way N for a one-day-only display of Tennessee’s three original constitutions.

Celebrate Tennessee’s 225th Birthday!

In addition to viewing Tennessee’s constitutions, which the Tennessee Highway Patrol Honor Guard will safeguard, guests can explore the interactive exhibits in the Library and Archives lobby and take a tour of this new state-of-the-art facility. Library and Archives staff will give tours every half hour from 10am to 3pm.

PARKING INFO

The Library & Archives provides free patron parking in its dedicated underground garage. To access the garage, patrons must obtain a library card at the first-floor receptionist desk. First-time patrons may park temporarily in the parallel street parking on Rep. John Lewis Way North during this process. After receiving an activated library card from the security receptionist, patrons should move their vehicles to the garage via the ramp on Jackson Street/Junior Gilliam Way.
