Tennessee Women in the 1920s:  A Transformative Decade?

Dr. Miranda Fraley-Rhodes, Tennessee State assistant chief curator and curator of the upcoming exhibition, Ratified! Tennessee Women and the Right to Vote,  will lecture on the experiences o f Tennessee women during the 1920s. How did women’s roles in politics change following the ratification of the 19th Amendment?  What were some of the lasting legacies of the suffrage movement in the state?  Learn about how women seized new opportunities to participate in public life despite ongoing challenges and debates.

These free online classes are open to the public, but registration is required.  Instructions to access online classes will be sent out to registrants prior to each class.
