The Black & White Bash
Who’s afraid of the dark?
The Nashville Opera has invited some of Tennessee’s most innovative filmmakers to create two-minute black-and-white films inspired by John Hoomes’ new noir staging of Verdi’s RIGOLETTO. Come see the finalists’ entries, meet the creators, and celebrate the winner.
Your ticket includes:
- A live jazz combo
- A truly original film screening
- Italian-inspired small bites
- One drink ticket for a classic cocktail or glass of wine (First round’s on them, then just $7 per refill.)
- Homemade macarons and, yes, cannoli
The night also features an installation of black-and-white street photography by Stacy Widelitz.
Attire: Chic black-and-white outfit.
Presented in partnership with Nashville Film Festival.
Don’t miss John Hoomes’ new noir vision for Verdi’s RIGOLETTO, April 9 and 11, where the winning film entry will become part of the opera!
