The Music City MLK Roundball Classic

The Music City MLK Roundball Classic (“Music City Classic”) is an annual event held over the MLK weekend that showcases the best high school basketball talent in the country. The event is sponsored by the Music City MLK Roundball Classic, Inc., a Tennessee non-profit, 501c3 tax exempt corporation.

On Monday the Martin Luther King Jr holiday, there will be a tribute to Martin Luther King and the presentation of the annual “Drum Major for Justice” Humanitarian Award.  Come and see the Thunder Squad perform at the opening ceremony on Saturday, January 16, 2016 and on Monday, January 18, 2016.   If you don’t know who the Thunder Squad is see the you tube video below of their break out performance for ESPN’s Black History Month commercial.   You don’t want to miss their first performance in the Music City!
