The Nashville Connection- Heroes Salute

The 4th Annual Nashville Connection Heroes Salute, 21-25 July 2015, in Music City, Nashville, TN

This 5-day event is a one of a kind experience where aspiring singers and songwriters work and connect with Grammy nominated and Grammy award winning songwriters, producers, vocal coaches of the stars, and top A&R and music publishing reps. The Nashville Connection gives artists around the nation an incredible opportunity to network and learn with the best in the industry. Every artist competing has a chance to win thousands of dollars in opportunity and development prizes for producing, branding, imaging, recording, vocal coaching, web design, social media and much more, all while supporting and honoring our military, their families, and our Gold Star Moms and Wives.

The Nashville Connection – Heroes Salute also provides thousands of dollars of scholarship awards to deserving singer/songwriters; provides a Mentorship Development Program for young artists; and provides an educational internship program for university students.

One of the most exciting aspects of “The Nashville Connection – Heroes Salute” is our unprecedented Songster Bus™. Artist tour buses will depart from various locations around the U.S. with teams of aspiring songwriters and matched with Grammy nominated and Grammy award winning producers and songwriters. Their challenge: to write a hit song in under 7 hours while traveling down the freeway at 65mph with cameras rolling and media reporting! We will have 6 Songster Buses coming from 3 different locations all converging in Nashville, TN to showcase the creative process and the songs that come from it. The winners will be chosen from 4 different genres and will be competing for incredible opportunity and development prizes!

Another wonderful and dynamic opportunity offered by The Nashville Connection is “The Artist Experiential Sessions”, where every singer and songwriter doesn’t just learn about the music industry from A to Z, they live it! This is a hands-on, experiential process covering every aspect of the music industry and every step of the recording artist’s journey. Singers and songwriters from across the nation will be critiqued by top music industry professionals, A&R executives, producers, labels, publishers, top songwriters, master vocal coaches, and have an opportunity to network and connect with the best in the music industry, all under one roof, and to take their music career to next level.

We hold LIVE Audition Shine Nights throughout the Southeast leading up to the Final Competition: VIP parties, Red Carpet “meet and greets” with some of the most well-known recording artists in the industry. There will also be our well-known spontaneous jam sessions, where participants have an opportunity to “Jam-out” with their mentors. The public is always invited to jump in. On the big day of the Final Competition, which is held in front of handpicked celebrity judge panel, the finalists will compete for amazing opportunity and development prizes!

Our final day, “A Heroes Salute”, is presented by FUTURE in cooperation with JB Productions, and DB Artist Development, the producers of The Nashville Connection. Proceeds from the Heroes Salute day will benefit selected military charities.
