Veteran’s Day Event

Almost 100 years ago, Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919, marking the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Joi the Tennessee State Museum to learn about the history of Tennesseans in military service, send a card to a veteran and hear stories from real Tennessee veterans.

Visit the temporary exhibition Tennessee and the Great War: A Centennial Exhibition, an exploration of our state’s role in WWI.
