"Voices for Children" Benefiting Williamson County CASA

Please join Williamson County CASA for its 2014 Voices for Children event, and an evening with "Music City Hit-Makers"–featuring some of Nashville's most elite songwriters! The Music City Hit-Makers are lending a unique “song meets symphony” aspect to the evening, with featured artists sharing the stories behind some of the biggest hits they’ve penned. Grammy award-winner and two-time ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Brett James will lead the night’s performance with fellow award-winning artists Jessi Alexander and Kyle Jacobs. It's an extraordinary musical experience—like only Nashville talent can offer—that you don't want to miss!Guests will kick off the night with a cocktail hour that includes hors d’oeuvres compliments of Strategic Hospitality, the brains behind Pinewood Social and Catbird Seat. Plus, WCCASA is hosting both a unique silent and live auction with prizes that include a Dolly Parton-signed mandolin, a football autographed by Tennessee Titans’ quarterback Jake Locker, a guitar endorsed by ABC's Nashville cast and more!

All proceeds will support Williamson County CASA’s efforts to stand up for a child’s right to be safe and loved. Williamson County CASA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Williamson County court system. This past year, 74 compassionate, highly trained volunteers who are empowered by the Williamson County Juvenile court, served 330 children. WC CASA's volunteers are specially trained to know how to understand the needs of each child and then advocate for those needs in the court system. For many abused children, their CASA volunteer is the one reliable adult presence in their lives. Volunteers stay with each case until it is closed and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home.
