Family-friendly untimed walk/run where strollers are welcomed.
The 11th Annual Walk Me Home for Foster Care is hosted by the Tennessee Foster Adoptive Care Association (TFACA) in partnership with the National Foster Parent Association. The event is a fundraiser for TFACA’s Walk Me Home Enrichment Fund, which provides grant opportunities to Tennessee foster children for extracurricular activities and special needs. Foster care organizations are available to give the public information on the need for foster and adoptive families for the 8,600 Tennessee children in foster care.
The event is family-friendly (children 12 years and under walk for free) and strollers are welcomed. Enjoy live music, an inflatable obstacle course, face-painting and free popcorn and sno-cones. Join the fun on Saturday and support Tennessee’s most vulnerable children.
