Wine Mom Wednesday

A funny, feminist fire brand with a career on a serious rise,” by The East Nashvillian, and “that bitch,” by the men who read it—Chloe has helped to build the Nashville comedy scene from an often male-exclusive niche, to a thriving community that welcomes all. She is well-known throughout the city as an advocate for female and lgbt performers. Chloe is also a shameless feather ruffler, as she pokes fun at sexist norms, pushing the envelope with comedy that is smart and sexy at the same time. She uses her own experiences in sex, life and media to put on a show that is as magnetically entertaining as it is devilishly relatable.
When she’s not producing shows, she’s touring the US and writing culture columns for magazines like Playboy and Paste. Chloe wears many writerly hats as a graduate from the New School’s famed writing program, a UCB-trained comic and a Pushcart Nominated essayist. She was one of 9 finalists, narrowed down from 30 semi-finalists, in Laughing with Lightning 100, Nashville’s major radio station’s comedy competition for Nashville’s funniest comic at Zanie’s Comedy Night Club. She’s a rare breed that’s not shy in a green room and even less so on stage, and will give you the middle finger just as soon as she might give you a kiss on the cheek.
Her new show, Wine Mom Wednesday, would seek to capitalize on her reputation as an exciting comic who celebrates the subversive, and curate a lineup of dynamic, popular performers doing their most dangerous jokes. Comics would be expected to do material that is either new, dark, or both. Chloe has curated shows that average 150-200 attendees who always come to see something new and surprising, and she would bring that to Zanie’s. She hopes to speak to the housewife demographic, and encourage them to come out for a night of unchecked fun and no holds bar comedy. The show would also seek a sex shop sponsor to provide a prize for both an audience member and the audience voted “dirtiest comic.” This show seeks to be a wild, once a month escape for people who seek and enjoy dirty humor.
