Wine Tasting + Art Exhibit

Art venue Galerie Tangerine, a branch of Daigh Rick Landscape Architects, is hosting an exhibit by local artist and curator, Janet Decker Yanez, entitled Evolution. Come “sip + see” with them, as they celebrate her incredible show with a wine tasting (+ food pairings) and closing reception in the main gallery.

Janet’s work documents shared space, time, memories and experiences, with media from fabrics to found objects. Her introspective work started as conversations inside her head, but quickly surpassed the land of self-portraits, and has taken her on a beautifully colorful and psychedelic ride. Yanez’s hallucinogenic approach adds an element of surprise to Galerie Tangerine’s creative offerings, which evoke fresh art and promise a delicious flavor of events and exhibitions. Together, the art and space will bring forth new conversations about how we become inspired and what it means to carry that glow within ourselves.
