Moms! Book your sitters! The Pump and Dump show is coming to town – it’s time to get out of the house, for once! Shayna Ferm and her sidekick MC Doula (Tracey Tee) host this outrageous, irreverent, raucous celebration of the trials of parenthood.
The Pump and Dump Show will bring the Fall continuation of their wildly popular “Year of the Mother” national tour to Zanies in Nashville, TN. The tour will continue on to Denver, Salt Lake, Phoenix, and Seattle, to name few. Moms across America (and even dads) will have the opportunity to raise their glasses and experience the kindred spirit of parenthood. The moment Shayna and Tracey hit the stage, they invoke boisterous laughter from an audience buzzing with anticipation of a fun night out with friends after being held captive in their own homes by the blessings and frustrations of raising a family.
Ferm and Tee declared 2016 the “Year of the Mother” in an effort to encourage moms to be kinder to one another and themselves. They are spending the year challenging moms to tell each other that they are awesome (they pass out handfuls of free “mom karma” cards at the show) and join together and declare as a group that raising humans is hard, but easier when parents support each other. Check out their Instagram page to see how their #BandOfMothers movement is bringing moms together.
Since 2012, The Pump and Dump show has given moms the perfect reason to gather their #BREEDER friends, celebrate a mom-to-be, or even treat an exhausted girlfriend to her first night out postpartum. Original music includes songs like “Eat Your F-ing Food” and “When I Die, I Want to Come Back as a Dad.” Audience members play one of a kind games like “Stump the Breeder” and “The Most F-ed Up Thing Your Kid Did This Week”, to win bottles of wine and other fantastic prizes from local and national sponsors. Shows sell out weeks – even months – in advance, proving that The Pump and Dump show is THE most sought after moms’ night out.
Whether it’s the gut-busting laughs, the kick-ass music, the unexpected prizes, or simply the much-needed commiseration and validation, it’s no wonder Parents Magazine, Popsugar Moms, Baby Rabies, Scary Mommy, and even George Takei rave about The Pump and Dump and its message.
