Lightning 100 announces its highly anticipated artist lineup for the 2017 Live On The Green Music Festival. This FREE outdoor music festival has hosted more than 170 performing artists in its eight year history.
This year’s festival is scheduled to run Thursdays August 10, 17 and 24 with the three day weekend finale to take place over the three day Labor Day weekend – August 31, September 1, and 2. The festival will feature a rich mix of local and national talent, including Sheryl Crow, Spoon, Future Islands, Portugal. The Man, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Local Natives, John Butler Trio, Iron & Wine, and Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors.
The 2017 lineup also includes Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Lone Bellow, DISPATCH, Real Estate, LP, The Record Company, Arkells, The Weeks, Minus The Bear, The Delta Saints, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, SHEL, Elliot Root, Paper Route, Goodbye June, Ron Gallo, Roots of a Rebellion, Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket, The Whistles & The Bells, Jonny P, Guthrie Brown, Cordovas, and the winner of Lightning 100’s Music City Mayhem contest, to be determined July 8, 2017.

Returning for its third year during the weekend finale is the 615 Stage. Located at the corner of James Robertson Parkway and 3rd Avenue N, the stage will feature a line-up of all local Nashville talent. A family friendly “Kids’ Music Festival” with kid friendly talent and activities will also be held on the 615 Stage on Saturday, September 2. The festival site footprint will remain similar to previous years, encompassing all of 3rd Avenue N between Union Street and James Robertson Parkway, and will extend up Deaderick Street to 4th Avenue.
