Founded in 2002 and located in Nashville, TN, USA, Wang Vision 3D Cataract and LASIK Center is a world-class, state-of-the-art laser vision surgery facility that has gained international reputation in management of complications after LASIK vision correction surgery. The center is equipped with the Intralase femtosecond and VISX Star 4 excimer lasers. Warren County Project Graduation

Warren County High School Booster Club Project Graduation emerged in the early 1980s in the state of Maine, where back-to-back years of alcohol related accidents contributed to multiple deaths of high school graduates in the Oxford Hills area. The following year local authorities, parents, and school officials combined efforts to inform and educate students of the problems of drugs and alcohol. The seniors were offered an alternative to the “traditional” graduation night unsupervised party with a huge supervised event held at the local fair grounds. The story was covered by the news media and was adopted as a major program initiative of the Division of Alcohol and Drug Education Services across America. Since then participating High School’s across the nation have seen a significant decline in drug and alcohol related deaths on graduation night.

Warriors’ Path State Park

Warriors’ Path State Park was named for the Great Cherokee War and Trading Path. Since that time, the park land has known a long history of travelers and is still a pathway for modern-day outdoor enthusiasts. The 950-acre park is located on the shores of the Patrick Henry Reservoir on the Holston River. The park is home to premier boating and fishing activity, hiking trails, an internationally-renowned mountain bike trail system (which is a designated National Recreational Trail), an award-winning nature education program and a nationally recognized golf course. Warriors’ Path is the only Tennessee State Park with a Boundless Playground – where children of all physical and mental abilities can play together. Other unique features throughout the park that are fully accessible include: the Lions Narnia Braille Trail with eight sensory stations along a quarter-mile that tell visitors the story of Aslan of the Chronicles of Narnia, the Anderson Treehouse which is a fully-accessible tree house and the Palmer Center Foundation Amphitheater which can host audiences of up to 1,000 people. Wartrace has been described as the “little town where time stands still.” That’s probably because our small village, nestled in the gently rolling hills of south central Tennessee, hasn’t changed much since our grandparents were kids. It’s hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city and suburbs, amid scenic Walking Horse farms, and yet is only an hour’s drive from Nashville, Chattanooga and Huntsville. Yes, we may be off the beaten path but Wartrace is the home of internationally renowned, hand-crafted guitars, a world-class live music venue and destination hotel, a long-running ultra-marathon that attracts runners from around the world, the oldest one-night horse show in Tennessee, and the popular Wartrace MusicFest, held the first weekend in June. Important Announcement: Watkins College to Merge with Belmont University in Fall 2020 Over a century ago, Samuel Watkins, a former bond servant and self-educated Nashville businessman, envisioned an accessible school that would strengthen the city with free lectures and classes. His hopes were finally realized with the construction of Watkins Institute on his property in 1885. From these humble beginnings evolved one of the finest community-oriented art education facilities in the Mid-South. Watkins College of Art is a regionally and nationally accredited nonprofit independent college of the visual arts offering bachelor of fine arts (BFA) degrees in film, fine art, graphic design, illustration, interior design, and photography as well as a BA in art. Their graduate programs include two MFA degrees—in film and in visual arts. They also are a committed community partner, offering classes in a broad range of subjects for adults, teachers, and children of all ages through our Community Education programs. One of the area’s only wave-action swimming pools! Ride the waves or just let them lap at your feet. There are calm, “non-wave” periods, also. You have access to three water flumes and two-speed slides! There’s even a kiddie pool with water dropping features and a children’s playground. Your admission includes floats. However, the supply of floats is limited. Extensive fast-food concessions available as well! You may also bring your own food and drink in a cooler. Glass containers or alcohol are not allowed. Your bags and coolers are checked upon entry. Shaded areas are limited as are the Super Umbrella areas. Super Umbrella areas are first come, first served. Bringing your own chairs and a pop-up tent is suggested. We Are Building Lives

6th Annual Nashville Veteran’s Benefit Concert for We Are Building Lives at The World Famous Sound Kitchen Studios Sound Kitchen Studios (www.soundkitchen.com) will again serve as host to the 6th Annual “No Veteran Left Behind” benefit concert presented by the We Are Building Lives Foundation, org www.wearebuildinglives.org. Over the last five years, we have achieved huge success due to the generous support of platinum selling rock artists, Three Doors Down, Jason Scheff, Yogi Lonich, and Saving Abel, country artists Marty Stuart, Keni Thomas, Teddy Gentry, Big Kenny & Eric Lee Beddingfield, including many more amazing world famous acts. Our special guest artists, Bluesgrass, will again fuse bluegrass and the blues in our courtyard! Emmy winning broadcaster, Neil Orne, will once again return as Emcee for the live in studio concert. The Sound Kitchen and each of the artists performing at the concert generously donate their time and talent to support We Are Building Lives Foundation, Org., a 501(c(3), a not for profit organization dedicated to serving Nashville’s homeless veterans. Since our inception, we have supported over 500 veterans, including, 37 families and 69 children by securing housing, medical care, transportation, VA & benefits assistance, plus many more services, all benefiting our veterans. “Returning veterans find themselves facing an even graver battlefield,” comments Tim Gregath, Executive Director of We Are Building Lives. “Our organization is committed to assisting Nashville’s veterans through a variety of programs to transition them to become productive members of the community. Events like the Sixth Annual We Are Building Lives Concert provide much needed funds to bring these programs to those who served and protected our country on the front line.” This country’s veteran services are significantly understaffed and struggling to meet demand. Over 95 percent of all funds donated to We Are Building Lives Foundation goes directly to the veterans we serve.
