They are licensed by DHS (Department of Human Services), and received 3 out of 3 Stars every year. Their Beliefs ‘A new Leaf’ symbolizes the beauty, vitality, and power of each child. A New Leaf believes that every child is gifted, and has the right to explore a rich and safe learning environment. They believe that children are social from birth, and that they have the need and the right to engage in community with adults and other children. They feel strongly that society shall not waste or betray children's potential, and that they shall inspire joy, connections, and success for every child. When he helped initiate a wine charity event that raised nearly $50,000 for the Mercy’s Children Clinic in 2001, he realized there was a unique opportunity to connect these two passions. Years later, A Vintage Affair continues to grow as the most unique nonprofit for women and children in Williamson County. A.A.R.F. - All About Rescue and Fixin’ Inc.

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin’ Inc.) is small group of volunteers with a passion for animals. It is our goal to save as many lives as we can from needless death. We are a foster based animal rescue organization based in the beautiful Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee. We pull animals from high risk situations, such as local animal shelters and local strays from counties who do not have the luxury of having an animal shelter. In addition to our adoption program, we work closely with many local animal shelters to ensure that dogs are not euthanized for space. In 2012, we started the AARF Freedom Ride Transport Program, which relocates homeless animals directly from our local animal shelters to guaranteed adoption facilities in the north, who need a wider variety of breeds of dogs to attract adopters into their shelters. This program has proved successful in reducing euthanasia of canines in our local shelters from around 80% to nearly 10%. A.A.R.F. is operated out of our volunteers’ homes. We are ALWAYS in need of foster parents to help save more lives. To become an A.A.R.F. foster parent, the only true requirement is that you love animals as much as we do, and that you would treat your foster animals as if they were your own. Source: venue website

Abintra Montessori School

Founded by a small group of parents, Abintra opened Nashville's first Montessori elementary program to nine elementary students in 1981 as an independent, nonprofit, educational organization. Abintra is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees, composed of current and former Abintra parents and alumni and Nashville community members. The mission of Abintra Montessori School is to assist in the development of the individual child and adolescent by providing a quality education based on Montessori principles and philosophy. ABLE Youth

ABLE Youth is the only organization of its kind, located in Nashville, Tennessee, to provide opportunities for youth who use wheelchairs in learning independence, skills and sports. Above all else, we strive for our participants to learn the importance of complete independence in all activities of daily living, which in turn, leads to self-esteem, motivation and a desire to excel. The children are taught The ABLE Way – to Adapt, Believe, Love and Enjoy life. Super Sports Saturdays, held once a month at the Williamson County Recreation Center, is the cornerstone of ABLE Youth. Our youngest preschool Tiny Tots start with learning wheelchair mobility, transfers, how to dress, bathe and perform other self-care routines. Older children are introduced to advanced chair skills, problem-solving skills as it pertains to independent living, and driving a car with hand controls. Super Sports Saturdays also introduces children to sports, such as basketball, tennis, rugby and wheelchair racing. Not all of our participants are full-time wheelchair users, but all have lower limb disabilities that make instruction in independence skills beneficial and effect their participation in community sports leagues.
