Well-prepared Turkish cuisine most closely relates to American comfort food, with its stews, salads, and grilled meats, seafood and vegetables. Small wonder you’ll see tables of senior citizens dining alongside young families and couples at Turkish mainstay Anatolia, open since 2003 in the Lion’s Head Village retail center off White Bridge Road. Save room for dessert, which include baklava and an ethereal kunefe pastry. (Let your server know in advance, as it takes 15 minutes to prepare.)

Full bar. Serving lunch 11 am-3 pm Mon-Fri, dinner 3-10 pm Mon-Thu, 3-11 pm Sun. Sat-Sun 11 am-11 pm.
