Butchertown Hall, an homage to chef-owner Terry Raley’s Texas Hill Country roots as well as the Germantown neighborhood’s butcher shop culture, has been an unqualified hit since its February 2015 opening. Wood-fired cuts of beef, pork and chicken — including some of the area’s finest brisket — and nicely charred vegetables dominate the menu. The well-stocked and busy bar includes a top-notch agave selection.

Full bar. Open 3-9 pm Mon-Thu, 11 am-10 pm Fri, 10 am-10 pm Sat, 10 am-9 pm Sun. Sat-Sun brunch 10 am-3 pm. Happy hour 3-5 pm Mon-Fri, 2-6 pm Sun.
