City Winery

The 2014 opening of City Winery is yet another sign that Nashville has arrived as a true multifaceted entertainment city — given the major metropolitan cities of New York City, Chicago, Atlanta and Boston are other outposts. The brainchild of Michael Dorf, founder of the heralded music venue Knitting Factory in NYC, City Winery was created to combine Dorf’s shared passions for wine and music. City Winery indeed will appeal to music lovers — the booking is top notch — as well as wine enthusiasts, with an in-house winery and a seasonal food menu meant to complement the wine in pairings. There are separate dinner and concert menus, the latter emphasizing globally influenced, locally sourced small plates. Service can be leisurely, so best not to be in a hurry when drinking or dining. Concerts have a separate admission charge.

With a range of experiences offered at City Winery, one guest’s highlight might have been seeing their favorite artist performing an intimate concert while they discovered their new favorite wine. Another guest’s highlight might be the evening that they exchanged vows with their spouse at a beautiful wedding ceremony in our wine garden followed by an epic celebration (complete with amazing food and wine) with their closest friends and family. New highlights happen everyday across our locations. Plan your unforgettable night out at City Winery today.
