Community Arts of Bellevue

Community Arts of Bellevue

The Community Arts of Bellevue (CAofB), a membership organization, was chartered by the state of Tennessee in January 2018 as a 501(c)3 tax exempt, nonprofit Corporation that was organized to operate for educational and charitable purposes.

It’s mission is creating, promoting, educating, and uplifting the arts and culture of Bellevue and the West Nashville area with a vision to:

Be THE resource for arts/artists in the West Nashville area
Promote opportunities for diversity through arts education
Build an engaged community through arts and collaborations
Make Bellevue a destination place through art and art events
CAofB incorporates and supports the work in both the visual and performing arts.

Our Response to COVID-19:

In March, 2020, the CAofB Board of Directors created and produced a special online series of programming to help support visual and performing artists – and our community – in response to the unprecedented COVID 19 global pandemic.  This series, LIVE FROM THE VUE, is consistent with CAofB’s mission and purpose, this series would also help CAofB expand its reach and increase public awareness of the organization within the community.

Aligned with the 2019 Strategic Plan, LFTV affords CAofB the opportunity to:

Establish partnerships and build collaborations
Launch marketing and community strategies
Unify the community through culturally relevant events
Address logistical challenges
A special committee, consisting of board and non-board members, was created to curate the offerings which have consisted, thus far, of studio tours, trivia contests, theatrical readings, creative writing, cooking demonstrations, concerts, and more.
