Franklin, Tennessee’s most renowned chef-restaurateur, Jason McConnell (Red Pony, 55 South), gets his steak groove going with downtown Franklin’s always consistent fine dining spot Cork & Cow. Independently owned steakhouses don’t get much better than this. As you’d expect given the name, the wine selection is well-chosen and includes reasonably priced offerings by the glass.

Full bar. Serving dinner 5-9 pm Sun-Thu, 5-10 pm Fri-Sat. Bar opens at 4 pm daily.
