The Education Equal Opportunity Group (EEOG) is a nonprofit that helps public high school students’ labeled as at-risk to become first-generation college graduates. Our core focus is to change the trajectory of students who come from low-income and challenging backgrounds to create positive pathways to success. The EEOG’s mission is to prepare underprivileged and talented students to become the best leaders in the world. To date, 95% of students in EEOG’s leadership programs have graduated from public high school and 86% of those have graduated with honors. Since its inception, EEOG has mentored and provided leadership training to over 7,000 students. The EEOG is currently serving 500 public high school students across the State of Tennessee from the following cities; Antioch, Halls, Knoxville, Kingsport, Lebanon, Memphis Nashville, Mt. Juliet, Murfreesboro, Ripley, Somerville, Tullahoma and Tennessee.
