Earnest Bar & Hideway, formerly known as Hemingway’s, has fit in nicely in South Nashville’s steadily gentrifying Wedgwood-Houston neighborhood since its 2017 opening. Call this contemporary tavern fare, better than you’d perhaps expect, with a lively and well-stocked bar.

Full bar. Serving lunch 11am-2:30 pm, dinner Sun-Thu 5-10pm, 5-11 pm Sat-Sun. Mon-Fri brunch 11 am-3 pm. Sat-Sun brunch 10:30am-2:30 pm. Bar open 12:30 pm-midnight Sun, 11 am-midnight Mon-Thu, 11 am-1 am Fri, 2:30 pm-1 am Sat.
