Located in picturesque Sumner County just 45 minutes from downtown Nashville, Historic Castalian Springs is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and interpreting the diverse local and regional history at its three state historic sites: Cragfont, Wynnewood, and Hawthorn Hill. Each property tells a unique story and brings visitors into the complex web of culture and events in 18th and 19th century Tennessee. COVID-19 UPDATES & INFORMATION

Our Response to COVID-19:

Beginning on April 15th, Wynnewood and Cragfont State Historic Sites will be open to visitors Thursday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at no charge.

Visitors may tour the houses, however group sizes will be limited and masks will be required inside the houses. Tours at Cragfont will be held at 10:00, 12:00, and 2:00. Tours at Wynnewood will be held at 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00.

VISITORS DURING COVID-19:
As we reopen Historic Cragfont and Wynnewood, our #1 concern is the safety of our guests and our staff. We have implemented policies designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We ask your help to keep our community and visitors safe while on our grounds. It is essential that we follow certain protocols to ensure the sites can remain safely open.

Visitor Protocols:
If you are sick or were recently exposed to someone with COVID-19, STAY HOME.
-Maintain at least six feet of separation between you and other visitors.
-If the site appears full, please consider coming back at another time.
-Face masks are encouraged when around other people, even when outside. Face masks are required when touring inside the house.

-We encourage everyone to bring and use their own hand sanitizer.

Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized frequently throughout the day, following CDC guidelines. We ask that you help us keep our restrooms clean and practice appropriate personal hygiene in accordance with the CDC's recommendations.

Social distancing will be required during any grounds tours, and staff reserve the right to ask guests to leave if they refuse to comply.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact us at 615-452-7070 or email director@historiccastaliansprings.org.
