Plans for a December holiday concert are on hold as we continue to evaluate the Covid-19 situation and to comply with local regulations on gatherings. WE WILL BE BACK to bring the community fine performances of symphonic music just as soon as it is safe to do so! Thank you for your patience and support in this trying time.

The Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra is a volunteer community orchestra led by its Music Director Chris Norton.

The NPO was founded in January 2004 by Kelly Corcoran, who conducted the first season. In the spring of 2008, Chris Norton took up the baton to lead the NPO, and he has continued the NPO’s mission of community outreach and musical excellence to the present day.

This ensemble offers players of differing levels and backgrounds the opportunity to make music together. The Nashville Philharmonic performs a diverse mix of repertoire – different genres and styles anchored in the classical tradition. Pl
