Pfunky Griddle, The - Berry Hill

Founded by chef Penelope Pfuntner, longtime Berry Hill make-your-own-pancakes cafe The Pfunky Griddle welcomes kids and the kid in all of us. It’s pfun. You’ll wind up reeking of the childhood-familiar smell of cooking oil and pancake batter from the individual griddles at each table, but that’s the price you pay for the sake of an almost home-cooked pancake breakfast. The staff closely oversees the whole operation and will even cook for you if you’d like, but that’s kind of defeating the purpose, don’t you think? There’s also a sister restaurant in Murfreesboro.

No alcohol available. Serving breakfast and lunch 8 am-2 pm Tue-Fri, 7 am-2 pm Sat-Sun. Closed Mon.
