Poe Boy Luncheon

Poe Boy Luncheon

Located in a nondescript retail strip along Dickerson Pike in East Nashville, neighborhood treasure Poe Boy Luncheon ranks among the city’s most underrated meat-and-threes. The small kitchen features a couple of cast-iron skillets, with expert hands cranking out excellent fried pork chops and fried chicken, with chicken and dressing. Sides include some of the city’s best mac-and-cheese renditions, with collard or turnip greens and fried cabbage among the other seasonal sides. Extra credit for the cornbread, which is truly spectacular.

No alcohol available. Serving lunch 11 am-6 Tue-Fri and Sun. Closed Sat and Mon.
