Rainforest Cafe

National themed chain Rainforest Cafe has been a family-friendly staple of Opry Mills shopping mall since its 2000 opening on the former Opryland theme park grounds. This is a place built for birthday parties, with its waterfalls, animatronic gorillas, and trumpeting elephants. As for the food, expect people-pleasing takes on the usual suspects, although with title descriptors such as “Volcanic,” “Tropical,” “Amazon” and “Lava.” Wild! The kids menu is one of the most expansive in the city.
