Red Pony

Prolific executive chef-owner Jason McConnell (55 South, Cork & Cow, McConnell House) continues to draw crowds and rave reviews for his flagship restaurant Red Pony, reopened in February 2022 after temporarily relocating at the historic McConnell House after a January 2021 fire at its permanent home. Opened in 2006 in a more than 100-year-old building on historic Franklin’s Main Street, the multi-leveled Red Pony features sophisticated but eclectic Southern fare in equally sophisticated yet far-from-stuffy environment.
