Nothing says Tourist Mecca like a candy store — we’re all kids in candy stores, after all — which means the Lower Broad outlet of Savannah, Ga.-based mail order and retail Savannah’s Candy Kitchen is never wanting for customers. Fresh-made candies, salt water taffy, hand-dipped caramel apples, and ice cream and gelato mean the sweet tooth is sure to be satisfied. Extra credit for the hot fresh praline samples handed out to passersby (and bar-hoppers).
