Opened in 2012 by noted Nashville restaurateur Jay Pennington (ex South Street and Boundry) and partner William Inman, 12 South favorite Urban Grub consistently shines as a combination fish pit and Southern cantina. The kitchen offers an array of fresh fish and seafood, freshly shucked oysters, and smoked and grilled meats and vegetables.

Full bar. Open 4 pm-midnight Tue-Thu, 4 pm-1 am Fri. 11 am-1 am Sat, 11 am-midnight Sun. Sat-Sun brunch 11 am-3 pm. Closed Mon.
