It has been instant success from fast-casual spot Za Wood-Fired Pizza, a spinoff of chef-owner Karl and Sarah Worley’s madly popular Biscuit Love outpost next door in Hillsboro Village. Its late-August 2019 opening brings praiseworthy wood-fired 12-inch pies, served in to-go boxes for takeout or hanging in at communal tables, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. A couple of salads and a whipped ricotta appetizer also were on the opening menu.

Beer and wine available. Open for lunch and dinner 11 am-9 pm daily.
