My new album THE POET is now available. After a battle with cancer, I dusted off my guitar, put pen to paper and slowly but certainly began returning to the songwriters spotlight. In the past few months I have had the pleasure of working with some of the best "new talent" in Nashville. Including Beth Marie Anderson, Mark Vikingstad, Morgan Alexander, Wes Casto, Amanda Nagurney, Kenneth Cooper, and Sara Bolton. I’ve also been inspired and encouraged by People like David Bradley, Jessica Rae, and Julie Forester. A special note of thanks goes to Terry & Wanda Seay, a great couple who host frequent "House Concerts" in Franklin TN. They feature some of the best, the brightest, and the newest songwriters in Nashville. I have been fortunate to be included in their circle as I rediscover my passion. For nearly three years now, ranked as one of the Top 25 Americana Arist in Nashville by Reverbnation.com, I am so proud and thankful for all Fans, Friends and Family who have continued their support. If you are new to my circle of friends and fans, you may want to know a bit about my music. It’s been called a lot of things! Neo-Traditionalist Country, Americana, and Folk-a-Billy are a few of the labels. I just call it My Music ~ it’s a blend of all those influences, from all those years. It comes from the hisses and pops of the "cranked-up" Victrola that was my dads, it comes from the 78’s on the Crosley Console Record Player, it comes from the 1950’s Jukebox at The Coffee Shop where my Mom worked and from a little red transistor radio, under my pillow on some cold winter nights in those early 60’s. In total its just me, my words, my song, my life, in music.
