I have a masters degree plus 70 credit hours. I graduated from Virginia Wesleyan in 1974, Eastern Virginia Medical School 1990, and am in the process of receiving my EdS in School Psychology from Tennessee State University. I have been teaching for most of my life. I have a strong work ethic and enjoy my work. I enjoy my students and think Tennessee is a great place to live. My Masters of Science Degree is in Art Therapy and I have been employed as an art therapist in the criminal population, adolescent sex offenders, and abused women. My research has been that abused females depict themselves in their art work.
I am a portrait artist and a mural artist. I do a lot of donated work, but as I am nearing retirement I will need to establish myself in the art world. My time has come to produce art. I am ethical and do not have to be coerced or cajoled into doing quality work. I am my own critic. I usually go beyond expectations. I love teaching and making art of my own. I believe in a positive approach to working with others.
