Artistic Style My childhood was split between living on the bayous of Louisiana and living in Nashville, Tennessee; thus I was influenced by both cultures. Many of my paintings have a psychological story and include fairies, angels, spirits, and bright colors. Some people describe my artistic style as expressionistic, fantasy, or any combination of the two. I’ve always had my own style, and my paintings reflect the struggles I’ve been through in life.

I am basically self- taught in art, though I was exposed to some teachers such as the late Juanita Greene Parks and Hazel King, and did some independent studies at Belmont College.
