Tomato Art Fest is a two day festival that celebrates art, entertainment, and food dedicated to tomatoes in Five Points, East Nashville.
The Tomato Art Fest has steadily drawn larger crowds with each year that passes. Last year, an estimated 60,000 came to celebrate this beloved fruit/vegetable and enjoy the day’s festivities. Touted in the Oxford American, and Southern Living, The festival was voted “Best Festival” in the 2007 – Nashville Scene Reader’s Polls. Located in Historic East Nashville’s Five Points, which has been coined by Budget Travel Magazine as “Nashville’s version of New York’s East Village,” this FREE, costume-friendly event provides a fun-filled day for all.
Initially started in 2004, the festival now surpasses around 60,000 attendees and was recently voted as “Best Festival” in the 2007-2018 Nashville Scene Reader’s Polls.
A percentage of proceeds benefit Friends of Shelby Parks & Bottoms, a nonprofit dedicated to help preserve, protect and enhance historic Shelby Park and Bottoms.
