BALAM AJPU Public Concert

Presented by Center for Latin American Studies at Vanderbilt and Global Education Center at Carpenter's Square

Renowned Mayan Hip Hop Group BALAM AJPU will be performing a public concert on Sunday, March 19th. The group combines Mayan spirituality with art to achieve a fusion between the indigenous worldview and music. “Balam Ajpu” means Jaguar Warrior and represents duality, the opposites that complement each other, masculine and feminine energy.

The concert will be held at Carpenter’s Square, 3016 Nolensville Pike, Nashville.
