Hands On Nashville is accepting nominations for Middle Tennessee’s largest annual celebration of volunteerism.
The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards, presented by Advance Financial, recognize Middle Tennessee volunteers who give their time and talents to improve the community. Before Jan. 31, 2018, nominate a volunteer for recognition during the awards luncheon, which will take place in April. Award categories below.
CAPACITY-BUILDING VOLUNTEER AWARD: Honors individuals who provide significant operational or administrative support to a nonprofit agency, faith-based ministry or community organization, or developed an innovative approach to significantly improve an existing program.
CIVIC VOLUNTEER GROUP AWARD: Recognizes representatives of civic, membership, faith-based or non-corporate groups that volunteer together for a specific cause or issue.
CORPORATE VOLUNTEERISM AWARD: Pays tribute to businesses that have robust employee volunteer programs with high levels of participation and impact.
DIRECT SERVICE VOLUNTEER AWARD (AGES FIVE TO 20, 21 TO 49 AND 50 PLUS): Recognizes individuals who have contributed significant volunteer time, energy, and/or resources to help an agency’s constituents.
