Once a year, local craft artists of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, Tennessee will open their studios to the public, offering a unique and wide selection of artwork and demonstrations. Whether you are a long time collector or new to appreciating fine craft, you will find some of the Stones River area's finest forged iron, pottery, stained glass, weaving, wood work, fine jewelry and functional home accessories.
Established in 1993, the Annual Art Studio Tour has given visitors a glimpse into the working studios of the local artisans and craftsmen. Mastering various elements, the artists produce one-of-a-kind treasures for you to bring home. Each year, the talent grows and develops, just like the city of Murfreesboro. You are invited to visit the studios to see how and where their artwork is designed and made. The tour is a free community event. Join the adventure finding the artists and studios that you never knew were there.
The Art Studio Tour is made possible by very generous sponsors who share in their passion and excitement to bring this cultural event to the community.
