November 6 – KIDSVILLE ENTREPRENEURS MAKE A DIFFERENCE: Celebrate Veteran’s Day and Women’s Suffrage as Kidsville discusses how women came together during WWI to care for people and then kept working together to secure their right to vote. They will also showcase two young women entrepreneurs who are working together to make a difference in thecommunity. Then, they will demonstrate how to create a care package for someone you love.
November 13 – STORY TIME WITH IMAGINATION LIBRARY: Join Kidsville partners at Imagination Library as they read the Storybook Walk book Last Stop on Market Street. Then, create a placemat inspired by the dining table at the end of the book.
November 20 – COOKING WITH NIKKI: Put on a smile and join Nikki as she demonstrates how to make a happy face snack for a delicious treat.
November 27 – MUSEUM OF AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSIC: Join the Kidsville partners at the National Museum of African American Music for an episode of their workshop series, From Nothing to Something (FN2S), about the music innovations that early African Americans used to create by memory and with limited resources. They will present their Spoons workshop featuring, Lucius “Spoonman” Talley.
Videos will be archived on the Kidsville at Home section of the Kidsville website, which features over 40 video and craft activities.
